We challenged chefs of three different skill levels – amateur Keith, home cook Daniel, and professional chef Penny from the Institute of Culinary Education – to bake us a chocolate cake. After each of them had presented their cocoa creation, we asked food scientist Rose to review their work. Which level takes the cake for you?
Gordon went live this weekend to put himself to his biggest challenge yet….cook a burger in 10 Minutes or donate £10,000 to the NHS Charities Together. Find out if he’s able to do it as Gordon and and his family #StayHome. And don’t forget to join him weekly as he attempts to show you simple, easy meals that you can do in 10 Minutes.
In today’s video we’re visiting Beast Burger in Grimsby, to take on their ludicrously large stacked burger challenge. The rules on this one are a little different to your typical food challenge, in that you have to beat the previous record number of patties to be crowned the new champ! The existing record is 15 patties, accompanied by 15 bacon, 30 slices of cheese and a ton of pickles and burger sauce. The coolest part of this challenge is that if you break the previous record, you get the burger named after you! Remember though, with every additional burger patty comes an extra layer of bacon and two additional slices of cheese!
A BRAVE food vlogger has taken on the ultimate spicy challenge – by tackling five of London’s hottest dishes in a single day. YouTube presenter and food fanatic Lewis ‘Big Lew’ Richards took on dishes originating from China, the US, Vietnam and India, rounding up his chili-filled day by attempting to finish the World’s Hottest Curry.
Today, we’re joined by Rainn Wilson to play the metaphysical milkshake game, Choose The Wrong Answer, Drink The Nasty Milkshake!
What happens when we liquify solid food and solidify liquid food?
I won’t lie, I’ll be happy to see the back of ‘Veganuary’ but when I heard that Burgers & More, a restaurant I did a ludicrously tasty food challenge at years ago, was offering a special vegan tower burger challenge to celebrate the launch of their new menu this month, I couldn’t really pass it up.
They also have a regular meaty tower burger called The Stratosphere, if you feel like having a crack yourself…It’s a pay to play, so no free meal, but their menu is wacky as hell so it’s well worth ordering.
We challenged chefs of three different skill levels – an amateur, a home cook, and a professional – to make us some hot dogs. After each of them had offered up their creation, we asked a food scientist to review their work. Which one looks like the most fun on a bun?

We challenged chefs of three different skill levels – an amateur, a home cook, and a professional – to make us a cheesecake. After each of them had presented their creamy creation, we asked a food scientist to review their work. Which style looks the best to you? Debate away, there are no wrong answers when it comes to cheesecake. And if you’re wondering where Stephen was…we know. Watch until the end!
Stop 2 of the summer 2019 restaurant tour – I went to Stuffy’s II Restaurant in Longview, WA to take on their 7lb omelette platter challenge. Eaters have 45 minutes to take on a massive omelette stuffed with meats and cheeses, a pile of hash browns, 4 slices of toast, and some healthy fruit. Winners receive the $43 meal for free, a free t-shirt, and a coveted spot on their wall of fame. A huge thank you to Stuffy’s for being so genuinely sweet and awesome! Their staff is super adorable, and dress 50’s diner style and they are just SO SO fun. Definitely check them out!
