You’d Never Think to Use Donuts Like This
Oh, donut lovers, how I have the perfect dessert for thee. Bonus: You don’t even have to turn on the oven! All you have to do is get your hands on two dozen old-fashioned donuts (hi,Dunkin‘!) and then get to layering. When I first saw the inspo for this, my reaction was “GENIUS!” I love reimagining how to present ingredients, and this seemed like a nice idea for anyone who loves donuts as much as I do (which is a lot).
But the donuts aren’t even the sell of this cake: It’s the mocha whipped cream. Spiked with cocoa and espresso powder, the silky, rich cream filling is addictive. And, obviously a cuppa mocha, is the perfect thing to pair with a donut.
